A MAN, 43, is to stand trial for repeatedly harassing his ex-wife in Palma in October and November 2012.
The public prosecution explains that he did not accept the separation she had proposed and wanted to control all aspects of her life. He allegedly called her at work, visited her home accusing her of cheating on him with other men and blamed her for the failure of their marriage in front of their children, as well as threatening her.
He also tried to discredit her at work and amongst her university teachers. He hacked her e-mail account and sent e-mails in her name.
The public prosecutor is asking for three years in prison and a restraining order against him.
