Dead man found in Almuñecar

LOCAL POLICE and fire fighters from Almuñecar have found a dead man inside an apartment in the Abencerrajes residential complex (Marina del Este).

The discovery was made after neighbours reported a strong odour coming from within the property, according to the information released by police.

Authorities had to force the door to access the home and the man is believed to have been dead for several days.

The dead man has been identified as JDSE, he was 49-years old and came from Pitres (Granada).

His body is currently undergoing a post mortem examination to determine the cause of death.
