Lessons for frustrated parents in Fuengirola

FUENGIROLA’S public libraries are running workshops to teach frustrated parents of schoolchildren how to put covers on textbooks without ending up in tears.

The Forrar Libros es Facil (covering books is easy) workshops are running at the Lope de Vega library on Thursday (September 24) at 5pm and at the Francisco de Quevedo library in Los Boliches at 5pm on Tuesday September 29.

Culture Councillor Rodrigo Romero commented: “If there’s one thing guaranteed to get us parents in a mess it’s covering textbooks. You end up with bubbles, bent covers and other problems, which is why we decided to provide expert help, and who knows better than librarians?”

All parents need to do to join the workshops is turn up in the right place at the right time armed with their children’s textbooks and some sticky-backed plastic covers.
