Motril gets makeover

SEVERAL streets of Motril have undergone a comprehensive series of transformations paid for the by the Commonwealth of Costa Tropical municipalities.

Head of the Commonwealth Jose Garcia Fuentes, visited the works which were carried out on Calle Juan Sebastian Elcano, Nao Victoria and Juan de la Costa as well as in Calle Padre Vazquez Alfalla and Vicente Yañez Pinzon.

Works included the replacement of sewage and water supply systems, paving of streets and the placing of new fire hydrants. All these renovations are expected to solve flooding problems which are registered frequently in the area.
