CALPE artist and gallery owner, Lola Linares, generously opened up her art studio to young adults with psychological disabilities.Each Thursday throughout August the students aged between 15 and 20 have been encouraged to express themselves through art.This has helped them to awaken their senses, express emotions and better understand their environment and reality, Lola explained.Tuition and materials were provided free by the gallery and an exhibition is being planned to give the students a chance to exhibit and sell their works.“It was a unique experience for us all,” the painter said.
