TABERNAS DESERT: Dramatic venue for Full Moon Walk.
ALMOST 50 people took part in Almeria Provincial Council’s latest Full Moon Walk at Tabernas desert.
The group met at Tabernas informacion centre and visited the church, village square, San Sebastian shrine and castle before heading out into the desert for a trip up to Paraje de Los Pilares stopping off at various points of interest including the Exodus scenery.
The Senderos de luna llena (Full Moon Walks) are becoming increasingly popular amongst both locals and visitors to Almeria, leading the council to increase the number of events planned each summer, provincial Sports delegate Angeles Martinez reported.
