Almuñecar to host two stunning flamenco concerts

FLAMENCO lovers are in luck as Almuñecar brings two prestigious artists to the town within the festival ‘Flamenco Summer in the Costa.’

The event has been put together with the collaboration of the town’s Culture Department and the association Los Veranos del Corral. 

Head of the Culture Department, Olga Ruano, and director of the association, Raul Comba, presented the event which is to take place at 10pm on August 19 and 20 on the stage in El Majuelo Park.

The two well-known chosen artists are flamenco singer David de Jacoba and dancer La Moneta. 

On August 19, David de Jacoba will star in the town with his show ‘Jubileo,’ accompanied by guitar player Carlos de Jacoba and backup singers, Los Mellis. The next day, on August 20, it will be the turn of flamenco dancer Fuensanta ‘La Moneta,’ together with guitar player Luis Mariano and others. 

Tickets can be purchased in advance for a price of €16 at Viajes Ecuador (Paseo Altillo, 2), on the website www.losveranosdelcorral.es, and at the box office at El Majuelo Park two hours before each show for a price of €20.
