BON GIOVI commanded the stage in the Mijas Auditorium on Thursday August 6 with their Earth-shattering performance, which had the crowds begging for more. The support band Stereo 80 performed a selection of soft rock songs that got everyone in the mood, so much so that they were called back for an encore.
Following an untimely spot of rain Bon Giovi were delayed on stage, but once they got going, nothing could stop them. These guys really do look and sound as close as you can get to the real thing, as they had the audience in a state of hysteria as they danced the night away.
The band, Andrea Ojano as Bon Jovi, Dean Harris as Richie Sambora, Wayne Harris as Davis Bryan, James Wright as Tico Torres, James Crofts as Hugh McDonald are touring the UK, Belgium and Spain up until December, so Thursday’s performance was a one-night-only rare treat in Mijas.
They gave excellent renditions of Always, Wanted Dead or Alive, Have a Nice Day, Living on a Prayer and ended on a fantastic high with It’s My Life. The auditorium was rocking, even the VIP lounges occupied by sponsors, IBEX Insurance and the Presidents Club International, were flowing with their special guests dressed in authentic 80s gear.
It was a night of pure genius, magic and nostalgia, we hope to see them again on the Costa del Sol. Many thanks to organisers, Martyn at BIGM Promotions, Mijas Town Hall and also Sponsors IBEX and the Presidents Club International.
