Jail for Malaga bicycle thief who tried to kill security guard

A MAN has been jailed for five years for attempting to shoot a security guard who caught him trying to steal a bicycle in Malaga city. As the gun failed to shoot, the accused hit his victim in the face with it, causing multiple injuries which led a Malaga Provincial Court judge to award damages of €4,300 along with the jail sentence for attempted homicide and illegal weapon possession.
