Woman arrested at UK airport, believed to be heading for Syria with 3 children

A WOMAN has been arrested at Birmingham Airport on suspicion of attempting to travel to Syria with three children to engage in terrorist acts.
The 30-year-old woman from Leicester was detained by West Midlands Counter Terrorism Unit. Her home and another address are being searched as part of the investigation.
Meanwhile the three children were being looked after by officers and other agencies, said the police.
