Marihuana plantation demolished in Sayalonga

NATIONAL Police of Velez-Malaga have demolished a marihuana plantation in a mango greenhouse in Sayalonga.
The investigation started back in May after an anonymous source alerted police about the existence of a group of people who were growing and selling marihuana in a property of Sayalonga.
A 26-year-old Spanish man has been arrested and charged with a crime against public health. Police reported the man was caught red-handed while harvesting the product.
In a search a total of 175 cannabis plants have been seized, as well as a vehicle.
