Full speed ahead for pleasure boat sales in Valencia

THE purchase of pleasure boats in the Valencian Province has made a remarkable recovery, returning to 2009 levels. The registration of vessels increased by 83 per cent in just 18 months according to the National Association of Marine (ANEN), with figures provided by the Directorate General of Merchant Marine.
The types of leisure craft most in demand are those between 12 and 16 metres in length. Nautical clubs in Alicante, Denia, Moraira and Benidorm all report a considerable increase in the number of moorings taken.
