Benidorm celebrates gold haul in World Police and Fire Games

BENIDORM’S Mayor Toni Pérez accompanied by the councillor for Sport, Ana Pellicer, congratulated a member of the fire brigade on taking an impressive four gold medals in the 2015 World Police and Fire Games in Washington, which took place between June 24 and July 2.
The games attracted 300 multinational firefighters and police officers.
Domingo Seguí returned from Washington with four medals, winning two golds in a team event involving stairs and intervention without equipment. In other specialised categories he lifted a further two gold medals.
