New combined plane-train ticket to be launched

A NEW ticket will be launched by Spanish train company Renfe and Iberia to allow people in Spain to book a train-plane combined ticket.
This way, travellers will be able to use a one-off ticket for both journeys, a request that has been demanded by users for years and an initiative that was presented today in a press conference by Development Minister, Ana Pastor.
Sources in Iberia stressed that the agreement is not yet signed, and that negotiations are still taking place, and explained that this combined ticket is a step closer to achieving a AVE high speed train station at the Barajas Airport in Madrid.
