Makeover for beaches

NERJA beaches have been left in a poor state by the former government, according to the new council team.
The town council has announced that after comprehensive analyses carried out by municipal experts, beaches across the town have been shown to be in need of an urgent makeover.
Coasts Councillor Jose Maria Rivas said at a press conference that this major intervention will be funded by the Commonwealth of Axarquia-Costa del Sol municipalities and will include replacing beach showers with new ones, installing new wooden walkways and other facilities at El Salon, La Torrecilla and El Chucho beaches, as they receive the largest amount of visitors.
