JOSE MARIA MUÑOZ who threatened staff at his son’s school last year, has apologised in writing for his conduct.
The 14-year-old’s form teacher summoned his father Jose Maria Muñoz to the school to discuss the boy’s undisciplined behaviour. According to witnesses, Muñoz went to the school intending to take his son home with him and as he argued with the teacher, he repeatedly banged on the desks and destroyed a door. Some accounts claim that he pushed the headmaster Antonio Mañas.
Since then Muñoz has had a change of heart and has written to the school, apologising for his actions last October.
The scene between the irate father and the school staff made headlines, with extensive media coverage of a demonstration outside the school by pupils in support of the headmaster.
