Costa drug delivery service busted

THE National Police force has broken up a group suspected of having provided a non-stop cocaine delivery service on the Costa del Sol.
Nine people were arrested and three properties in Fuengirola and Mijas searched, and 126 grams of cocaine, 4.7 of MDMA and 200 of cutting substances, four vehicles, €3,390 in cash, three precision scales and various drug cutting and packaging tools were confiscated.
Investigations began when members of the public reported on the police force’s collaboration website that people were taking orders over the phone and delivering drugs to homes in Fuengirola, Mijas and other nearby areas.
Those arrested include Spanish, Cuban, Russian, Moroccan and Paraguayan nationals who worked shifts to take orders, carry out deliveries or organise the 24 hour service, the police force reported.
