Axarquia and Costa Tropical cities compete to be best in Spain

ALMUÑECAR and Rincon de la Victoria have been chosen together with other 24 Spanish towns to participate in the project Top Ciudades 2015.

The campaign was launched by hotel bookings engine HOTEL.INFO and has been designed to promote tourism in smaller municipalities.

The online site is looking for the most charming cities with a number of inhabitants below 60,000 and a variety of tourist attractions, such as an interesting old town, cultural centres and an extensive choice of activities for visitors.

This project is also promoted internationally, and the winning city is expected to see wider promotion and a boost to its visitor numbers.

To make Almuñecar or Rincon de la Victoria the winning city, those interested can vote at http://www.hotel.info/es/citymoments/top-ciudades-2015/ before July 14. In addition, voters will enter a raffle for a chance to win five €200 gift cards from HOTEL.INFO.
