La Linea hosts German cookery competition final

THE final of a German cookery competition, Cooking Cup 2015 Andalusian Cuisine, has been held in La Linea.
Organised by German gastronomy magazine Eat Smarter and broadcast on national television in the country, the competition has been running for 12 years in collaboration with Siemens.
This year, thanks to an agreement between Eat Smarter and the regional tourism department to promote the destination, Andalucian gastronomy was the focus of the popular competition during which five finalist couples have to use local produce and ingredients to create their dishes.
