Police investigate possible cruelty case

MIJAS police are investigating a possible case of cruelty to animals and breach of the peace regarding a non-Spanish man from Benalmadena.
A patrol in the Riviera del Sol area was called to a bar on Friday lunchtime (June 5), where a drunken man and a large dog were reportedly causing problems.
The bar owner and a number of other customers said the man had been screaming and violently waving his arms about, had urinated on bar tables and repeatedly punched and kicked his dog, which was visibly scared of him.
