Cocaine in cartons leads to arrests

FOUR Lithuanian men have been arrested for suspected drug-trafficking after two of them were caught with cocaine hidden inside fruit juice cartons.
Following a tip-off from Lithuanian police that the group was travelling to the Costa del Sol to collect drugs, the National Police force began surveillance.
After seeing them divide into two groups upon leaving their hotel, officers followed as two of the men took a taxi to Malaga bus station and bought tickets to Madrid.
Thinking it suspicious that although they put their suitcase on the ground the men didn’t put their cartons of fruit juice down at any time, the officers decided to stop the men and have a look, and found they had been filled with a kilo of cocaine.
The pair were arrested on the spot and the other two members of the group stopped. A judge has ordered that they be remanded in custody.
