Hunt on for knifepoint robbers

POLICE are hunting for two men who robbed a sports shop at knifepoint. The shop owner reported that she saw two young men parking a motorcycle in front of her store at 7pm on Monday in Palma’s Calle Bisbe Bernat Nadal.
They then entered the shop without taking their helmets off and threatened the owner with a large knife. One of the robbers took €200 from the cash register.
The woman was able to run outside of the shop and ask for help while the two suspects fled the scene.
The case is currently being investigated by National Police, who are analysing videos taken by surveillance cameras placed in Cas Capiscol and Camp Redo.
