New look for central streets

WORK that started on two central streets in Fuengirola is complete and they are due to open to traffic today (Monday June 1).
Renovation work on Calle Chile and Calle Peru began on April 20 and cost a total of €245,471.
“I’m sure local residents will like the new look. The work is almost done and the streets should open to traffic on Monday,” said local mayor Ana Mula after a visit to see the results of the work.
Mula said work was also being done on the alleyway between the two streets, and Calle Santa Rita is due to be resurfaced.
