THE body of a man has been found in a home in a residential complex with bullet wounds and other evident signs of violence.Residents from the complex, in the Riviera del Sol area, contacted Mijas Guardia Civil to report a strong smell emanating from one of the homes, and after obtaining permission from a judge, officers entered and found the deceased man on the floor inside.Police sources reported that the man’s hands had been bound and he had a number of shot wounds to the chest and one leg, and although a post mortem examination has been ordered to determine the cause and time of death, the state of the body led to believe the man had died some days beforehand.Investigations continue in an attempt to identify the man and discover the events that led to his death, which happened close to a street where a shooting was reported last week, which resulted in four arrests and confiscation of €34,000 worth of cocaine.
