Mother sparks outrage over photo of baby smoking

A TEENAGE mother from Valencia has caused outrage after uploading a photo of her baby daughter with a lit cigarette in her mouth to a social media site.
The photo was posted by the 18-year-old mother to Instagram several months ago. It has come to the public’s attention again in recent days after the President of the Spanish Association of Paediatricians, Antonia Nieto, said: “I think the police would definitely consider it to be child abuse, it is just absolutely unbelievable.”
Instagram users wasted no time in criticising the photo which suggested the child was inhaling the cigarette with one commenting: “You are the worst of life itself.”
However, maybe more shocking, is that since it was uploaded, it attracted more than 2,000 ‘likes.’
