Jail request for false abuse reporter

A WOMAN who reported her ex-partner twice for abuse could end up in jail for making false accusations.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office in Malaga has requested an 18-month jail sentence and €3,000 fine for the woman, who is accused of falsely reporting, threatening and blackmailing her ex for more than a year after they split up.
The man’s lawyers said that due to protocols he was arrested and spent time in police cells but was found innocent in court.
