Woman arrested for smuggling child in suitcase

GUARDIA CIVIL in Ceuta have arrested a 19-year-old Moroccan woman as she tried to smuggle a child into Spain via Ceuta, say 20minutos.es.
The eight-year-old child is believed to be from the Sahara region. Border control officers at El Tarajal In the Spanish enclave became suspicious when they saw the 19-year-old woman struggling to put the case containing the child onto the check point.
They then scanned the case and were made aware of the child inside, who was immediately taken into the care of social services, they said.
