ALMOST one year after work to prepare it for visits, the roof area of Malaga Cathedral is finally opening to the public on May 12 after meeting safety requirements.
Guided visits will be held every 30 minutes from 10.30am to 2.30pm, in groups of 50 people at a time, from Tuesdays to Sundays, the bishopric has announced.
Tickets can be acquired from the Ars Malaga office in the Palacio Episcopal on Plaza del Obispo for €6 each.
Initially evening tours will be held on Fridays as of May 29, with times adapting to allow visitors to watch the sunset from the roof. Tickets for these visits, priced at €10, will also be available from the Ars Malaga office.
