THE Democratic Coalition of Xàbia/Jávea is finalising its new programme designed to promote a better understanding of the common views of the community.

Members of the coalition are holding regular meetings with residential groups from various urbanisations and neighbourhood associations in the town to better understand the needs and wishes of the local population.

“We are confident that we are the best choice for these elections and know the real needs of our citizens,” said Party Deputy Juan Ortolá.

Election candidate Oscar Anton said: “I am enormously proud to work towards unity within the coalition… who are not promising impossible things, but standing by the side of residents, listening and encouraging involvement. We believe in this wonderful town and its potential.”

The Coalition invites residents for coffee at its next meeting at L’Encant in the Plaza de la Constitución on Thursday, April 23, from 10am until noon.
