Established now for over seven years in Albir, the Haweli is a leading Indian restaurant in the area, run by a family with decades of experience in owning res-taurants. Many who visit are simply blown away by the quality of food.

The smell of exotic and seductive spices makes your imagination travel to India and transports you to far flung lands as soon as you walk in.

Immediately, customers are greeted and welcomed by the attentive staff as you peruse the extensive menu and its wide range of dishes. If you think that Indian food is too hot or too spicy for you, worry no more as at Haweli you choose the intensity of the taste: soft, medium or hot.

There is always a milder option, so children and delicate stomachs have no excuses not to go. There is much to choose from, so for those struggling to choose between the baltis and bhunas, then why not try their buffet menu.

The popular buffet is on every Sunday costing €12.90 available during lunchtime service and in the evening, allowing you to sample a range of dishes.

At super value for money, there is a three course menu for only €14.95 including a drink available daytime or evening, or at lunchtime from Monday to Friday a three course lunch menu from 12.30-4.30pm costing €7.90.

All food is freshly cooked on site and includes a range of vegetarian dishes and all breads are cooked in a traditional clay oven over hot coals.

The extensive restaurant can sit up to 200 people both inside and out on the pleasant terraced area, meaning there is plenty of room for private parties and functions to be catered for. A takeaway service is also available.

Open seven days a week from 12.30-4.30pm for lunch and from 6.30pm till late.
