Upcoming Costa DFAS art and history lectures

THE Costa del Sol DFAS group has organised two new events of interest for members and guests alike.

On Monday April 13, a lecture on Sorolla, Painter of Sunlight will be given by Gail Turner MA at the Salon Varietes Theatre in Fuengirola.

Starting at 4.30 pm, the lecture will cover this Valencian painter who was highly successful during his lifetime but is now largely forgotten outside Spain and the US.

Guests will be charged €10 at the door for this lecture.

The following day, Tuesday April 14, Gail Turner MA will be offering another lecture, this time on Cities of Castille: Hidden Treasures of Avila, Segovia, Salamanca and Toledo, at The Danish Club, Urb. Haza del Algarrobo, Carretera de Mijas, at 10.30am.

Tickets for this lecture are priced at €10 for guests and €8 for members.
