SPANISH Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy and his family are spending the Easter break at Doñana National Park in Huelva.
Rajoy planned to travel to the national park with his wife and two children after lunch on Wednesday, April 1, Moncloa sources confirmed.
As is generally the case when the prime minister visits Doñana, the Rajoy family are staying at the Marismillas Palace, a state property on an 11,000-hectare plot, which includes a number of kilometres of deserted beached.
The family intends to stay until Easter Sunday as the PM has no official duties planned.
Former PM Felipe Gonzalez spent many holidays at Doñana, and Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero and Jose Maria Aznar also used the palace occasionally during their time in the post.
