Garissa.
IN an ongoing situation, a university in eastern Kenya has been stormed by masked gunmen from radical Islamist group Al-Shabab, killing at least 15 people.
The university in the town of Garissa is still surrounded by police and security forces. Another 65 people, including students, have apparently been injured by the gunmen who were said to be firing indiscriminately when they stormed the building.
Hostages have been taken by the terrorists who are apparently holding Christians and releasing Muslims, according to information given by an Al-Shabab.
The organisation has links to ISIS and is mainly based within Somalia. Fighting between police and the terrorists is reported to be continuing.
