A PROPERTY in ruins at Calle Tato in Motril will be demolished.
The home is located next to the Casa Garach and belongs to the town council.
Demolishing works have been priced at €18,246.87. Once the works are completed, the Casa Garach’s façade will be expanded from 1.80 metres to 3.72 metres.
Another 11 properties in the town will also soon be demolished including two in Calle Esparraguera, one in Plaza de España, one in Calle Garcia and others in Calle Buen Pastor, Plaza Trinidad, Calle San Roque and Camino de Minasierra.
The council explained that procedures to demolish a property usually begins with neighbours’ requests, as most of these homes cause humidity problems and other damages to adjoining properties.
