SPECIAL cleaning campaign is in place this week to ensure the flood of visitors over Easter does not leave Malaga city looks worse for wear.
A total of 287 people are working on cleaning teams making sure everything is returned to its normal clean and tidy state after processions and events, and 11 workers are distributing 100,000 rubbish bags over the week in the special Easter seating areas.
Certain streets are closed briefly before processions as anti-wax products are applied to facilitate removal of candle-wax drips after the events, a traditionally difficult chore unless precautions are taken in advance.
