Mijas Costa opens place to mingle

A NEW social centre has been opened in the Las Cañada area of Mijas Costa, which locals had been requesting for years.

The centre will give people somewhere to meet up, read, have a cheap meal and take part in activities.

A restaurant, rooms for reading, games, television and internet connection can be found at the centre, which will be holding art exhibitions in the near future, the council explained.
