INDUSTRIAL production in the Balearic Islands increased by 6.2 per cent in January, if compared with the same month of 2014.
The General Index of Industrial Production (IPI) data was released by the National Statistics Institute (INE).
The increase registered is higher to that of December, when the IPI of the Balearic Islands increased by 4.1 per cent, in comparison with the same month of 2013.
In national terms, the IPI decreased by 2 per cent in January, leaving the Balearic Islands figures at an amount above the national average.
