LOW-COST airlines brought a total of 33,809 to the Balearic Islands in January.
These figures translate to a 17.9 per cent increase compared to the same month of 2014, according to data provided by the Industry, Energy and Tourism Ministry.
The Balearic Islands is one of the autonomous communities registering the highest increase on last year’s figures, only exceeded by Madrid, which saw a leap of 34 per cent.
