Eurogolf Society at La Marquesa

FIFTY-TWO members of the Costa Blanca’s Eurogolf Society played in their first competition of 2015, a team ‘Yellow Peril’ game. The winning team was Paul Manning, Geoff Evans, Jan Shorley and ‘ghost’ scoring 143 points.

In second place were the team of Nico Baken, Ken Brett, Cindi Green and ‘ghost’ with 139 points. Third place went to the team of Malcolm Foskett, John Holland, Alec Relph and Mary Sanderson with 137 points.

Nearest the pin winners were Gordon Bourne, Malcolm Foskett and Tony Hitt. The results of TOFF´s Stableford competition were, in the Gold Division, first David Gregson (36 points), second Sue Gillett (33) and third Tony Stead (33).

In the Silver Division Alan Venables (37) was first, second was Harry Armstrong (35) and third was Hedy Paelig (35). The Bronze Division was won by Brian Heard (38) with Alec Relph (35) second and Sandy Holland (35) third.

Nearest the pins were David Lewis, Joe Ogden, John Jones and David Gregson.
