Lego donations for Mijas children

THE Lego Foundation donated 1,000 boxes of lego for needy Mijas children for the second year running.

The foundation took part in the council foreign residents’ department’s Friendship Day With Denmark and ties with Lego Foundation representative Helen Tychsen were strengthened.

Mijas Red Cross distributed the toys amongst local children in need.

Mario Bravo, foreigners’ department councillor, said: “we would like to thank the Lego Foundation of Denmark, especially as their donation has brought a smile to the faces of many families in Mijas this Christmas.”
