Our Carers find Live-in Caring a rewarding and enjoyable career

Laurice, a Consultus Live-in Carer since 1986

ANA PAULA joined in 2014: “My client recently opened her house and lovely garden in a beautiful Sussex village to support a charity event. It was wonderful to see her outside on a lovely sunny day, enjoying lunch and socialising with family, friends and guests.

“Thank you for the wonderful memories I shall always cherish; you have enriched my life in more ways than you realise. It has been a privilege caring for such a graceful, elegant, kind- hearted and dear lady!”

A Consultus Live-in Carer since 1986, Laurice is also a qualified aromatherapist and beautician. “I had a regular client in Guildford, a lovely gentleman and I was with him for three wonderful years. I learnt so much and experienced so many different things including a proper English Christmas with pheasant and carol singing! After a break to marry and have children, I just had to return to make use of my life experience and thanks to all the different training programmes (and technology!) we can confidently care for our clients.

All of our new carers attend a three-day induction course at our dedicated training centre in Tonbridge, Kent, run by qualified, friendly and experienced trainers who provide all of the information needed to start your career with confidence.

Our lovely Carer House is very popular and can be pre-booked at the same time as your training. You can stay at the Carer House before and after your assignments (subject to availability) and it is conveniently located just a two-minute walk from Consultus Head Office.

With over 50 years of experience behind us you can be confident you are in good hands.

We look forward to meeting you.
