Costa Blanca South Cycle challenge for Elche children’s home

Neil ready to take on the challenge!

KEEN cyclist Neil McKay is preparing to cycle 100 miles in one day to raise money for charities.

The event takes place on December 13 and the route will be divided into four circuits so participants can do a 25 mile route if preferred.

Neil, who is spending the winter months in Crevillente, has chosen the Elche Children’s Care Home as one of the four charities to benefit from the challenge.

Neil’s wife Gina is also supporting the home by making up shoe boxes for the children this Christmas and there is now a trolley in the reception at the Marjal Campsite in Crevillente where you can donate small items for boys and girls aged 13-18 (and any empty shoe boxes).

If you want to take part in the ride you will need to register (free of charge) at the Marjal campsite, which will be the start and end of the route, or for more information or sponsorship forms you can contact Neil direct by emailing neilmckay0730@gmail.com
