A second-hand car warehouse in Mijas Costa was destroyed by fire in the early hours of last Tuesday.
Emergency services were informed at about 3am on November 25 and two fire engines from the Mijas brigade rushed to the scene on the Camino de Coin road close to the Victimas del Terrorismo roundabout. Upon discovering the extent of the fire, Fuengirola and Benalmadena fire services were called in to help.
The fire was finally declared under control at 6am although firemen continued to work through the day to completely extinguish hot spots, leaving the premises completely destroyed and a number of cars that had been parked outside crushed by falling debris.
