Charity event at La Vida

LA VIDA in El Cucador is hosting a charity event on Saturday October 11 in aid of

The International Animal Rescue Association and APSA, the animal charity in Albox.

The event begins at 4pm and will run well into the night with entertainment available from Rod Oxley, a DJ from Smooth FM, and Brian Dee, a popular local singer and charity supporter.

Event organiser Carol is busy collecting raffle prizes and is delighted at the generosity of local business donations. Already in for the raffle are Donna’s hair and beauty treats, a Totally Scrumptious voucher, cinema tickets, a pet portrait, garden features and beautiful jewellery with a star prize of a set of baroque pearls worth over €100.

Raffle tickets can be purchased in advance or on the night itself.

Both charities will benefit greatly from the money raised as they are over-subscribed with dogs and building new rescue and homing centres.

Tickets cost €5 from the APSA shop, Living Design and Total Entertainment in Albox, Essentials in Arboleas or Carol Rosser, Di and Liz from APSA.
