Sylvester Stallone to return as Rambo

We are expected to see Sylvester Stallone take on the signature role once again, more than 30 years from the release of First blood in 1982.

Rambo V is speculated to begin where the Rambo IV left off, as the fictional character returns to his home in Arizona to face his abusive alcoholic father, who drags him in for some serious trouble with the Mexican cartel.

German Movie Company Splendid Films has confirmed Sylverter Stallone’s return for the fifth Rambo movie, and have released a statement which reads: “With Rambo V, Sylvester Stallone returns in his iconic role. This time he goes up against a Mexican cartel. Stallone, describes the new Rambo as his version of No Country for Old Men.”

Like the actor’s last film, Rambo V is also scheduled to be managed by action movie producer Avi Lerner, who has been responsible for all three of The Expendable movies.
