Hugh Jackman took to Instagram to warn fans to wear sunscreen.

Hollywood actor Hugh Jackman has experienced a second brush with skin cancer.

X-Men star Jackman has posted a new Instagram picture and revealed he has been treated again for a form of skin cancer.

The Australian actor, 45, urged fans to protect themselves with sunscreen.

On Instagram next to a photo of his face with a plaster over his nose he wrote: “Another Basel Cell Carsinoma. All out now.”

He also pleaded with fans to: “PLEASE! PLEASE! WEAR SUNSCREEN!”

Jackman, who is set to host the Tony Awards next month, revealed last November how he had experienced his first skin cancer scare. He went public using a similar image and message to fans.

Jackman’s latest film, X-Men: Days of Future Past, is in cinemas in the USA from May 23.
