Oscar Pistorius sick as graphic autopsy details are read out

The former paralympic athlete, on trial in Pretoria over the death of his girlfriend, vomited after hearing graphic testimony about Reeva Steenkamp’s autopsy.

Pistorius was listening to testimony from the expert who conducted the autopsy of his former girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.

The judge at the trial in South Africa had earlier banned live broadcasting and tweeting of evidence from Professor Gert Saayman after both legal teams argued it shouldn’t be shown.

This decision was also backed by Professor Saayman who said his testimony could “compromise the dignity of the deceased” and upset her family and friends if it was broadcast.

Professor Saayman said: “It goes against the good morals of society for us to make information of this nature available.”
