Police injured in drugs raid

NINE residents of Jumilla, Murcia, have been arrested accused of being members of a drugs network.

Two Guardia Civil officers were injured during the arrests following resistance by the alleged leaders of the gang. Police launched the investigation in to the pursuit of drug trafficking in May. They seized 38,000 doses of marihuana, 212 of hashish along with €4,000 in cash, computer equipment, a van and three cars.
