TORREVIEJA is considering spending nearly €12million in the 2014 and 2015 budgets on five remodelling projects.
The council has announced that the plans include renovation of the city’s seafront with walkways and West Pier esplanade being considered for an overhaul.
These projects have been outlined publicly by the government team on several occasions since 2010, but this time money has been earmarked in the budget.
The money budgeted for the works is part of the measures to compensate for the impact the desalination plant would have on the city.
