Staying or going?
David Luiz has left Chelsea dumbstruck it seems as just what seems days before the season starts, it is reported he wants to move to Barcelona.
Barcelona did not hide the fact that they were interested in the Chelsea central defender during the summer and having been at Chelsea for two and half years, has been named one of the Premier Leagues best defenders.
Having played internationally, he proved himself alongside Thiago Silva who had turned down a move to Barcelona himself. It was previously reported that the initial bid for the Brazilian player was laughed at by Chelsea but now Barcelona seem to be ready to raise their bid even though it falls short of what the Blues are expecting.
Dani Alves, Luiz’s fellow country team mate has allegedly voiced his concern on the matter by saying that he would like to see the player signed yet leaving may not be so easy.
If anything should go wrong with this signing, Barcelona coach has another backup, Liverpool’s Daniel Agger is supposedly a cheaper alternative.
